Business Robbery in President Park

MIDRAND - Two vehicles, a Toyota RunX and Renault Clio with an estimated value of R900 000, were taken during a business robbery at Pretorius Street in President Park.

Police spokesperson, Constable Matome Tlamela said the complainant was approached by an unknown man who pointed a firearm at her while she was outside.

“The suspect ordered her to get inside the house from the kitchen door. Inside the house the complainant saw her colleague lying on the floor, tied up with cable ties. The suspect took the victims’ cellphones and laptops and then ordered the complainant to give him the safe keys. There was no safe on the premises and the suspects took the two vehicles and fled the scene,” said Tlamela.

Police investigations are underway.

“Anyone with information that could assist the police is requested to contact the Midrand Police Station,” Tlamela added.
