Unit robbed in Carlswald complex

On 9 August a unit in Walton complex in Carlswald was robbed of property to the value of R75 000.

Constable Matome Tlamela said, “According to the complainant, while she was eating dinner she suddenly heard her domestic worker screaming outside. The complainant went to see what the commotion was about and found that her domestic worker was being held at gun point by unknown males.”

Constable Tlamela explained that the complainant ran into her house to try to lock the door but the suspects overpowered her.

The suspects took the wedding rings from the victims’ fingers, other jewellery that was in the house, cellphones and clothes.

Constable Tlamela said, “No-one has been arrested yet but the police are investigating the case and are hoping to bring the suspects to book soon.”
