Midrand’s million dollar baby

The 27 year old boxer will be competing in South African lightweight boxing tournament in East London on 31 August and if she wins the tournament she will then go on to compete in the World Championship on 28 September.

Ndodayini started boxing in 2011. She was attracted to the sport because the disciplined nature of it meant that it was a reprieve from bad influences like drugs and crime.

She says, “I love boxing! Its in my blood. As a boxer I am so respected.”

Ndodayini lives and trains in Ivory Park. She has a rigorous training schedule and a strict diet that she needs to follow.

She says, “I train twice a day, every day, morning and evening. I’m trying really hard to stick to my training diet too but I can no longer afford to buy the special foods I need.”

Ndodayini is appealing to the public for sponsorship of any nature. While her passion for boxing has taken her this far she needs help from the community to take her further.
