Fun day unites Halfway House

MIDRAND – Residents also showcased their products at the fun day.

Halfway House Primary School hosted a fun day on 3 February for its schoolchildren and the community.

The event was well attended and children were delighted to play on water slides, a zip-line, climbing wall, rocket house and many more. Parents and residents took showcased and market their products including candy stalls, water-purifiers, clothes and jewellery.

The principal of the school Silas Pillay said they were very grateful for the continued support from the Midrand police, Midrand Fire Station, Ria Sebetsa Security Services, multimedia and other supporting partners.

“I salute the dedicated staff, the school governing body and parents who volunteered to assist and made the event a sterling success,” he said.
