Business networking session sets up future connections

MIDRAND - On Wednesday 28 August Midrand Business Networking Sessions hosted a breakfast networking session at Constantia Hotel Conference Centre which was supported by many prominent Midrand business people.

Al Karaki who organised the event explained the reason for the networking sessions.

He said, “There are over 2000 businesses in Midrand at the moment. These sessions bring business people together from various backgrounds so that we can meet and possibly help each other with our respective businesses.

Owners and representatives of various businesses came to the event and started off with a meet an greet over coffee and snacks.

Very soon the chatter turned to business, with business cards being swapped and meetings being set up.

The guest speaker for the session was Maurits Perold, CEO of Green Habitat, which recently completed one of the largest solar installations in South Africa at the Midrand headquarters of Mustek.

After the talk the floor was opened up for the guests to inquire about solar installations for their own businesses as well as finding out about the benefits of solar installations.

Guests then put their business cards into a hat for the lucky draw with prizes up for grabs like R 1000 free advertising on 93.8 Mix FM.

The networking session was certainly a success with established and up an coming business people in Midrand making valuable connections for the future.
