SA band to help the SPCA

South African band, 1925 are coming to the aid of the Midrand SPCA.

They will be performing on Friday 30 August at Liedjieboer pub, at the corner of R562 and Olifantsfontein Road, Glen Austin.

There will also be an auction on the night with all proceeds going towards the Midrand SPCA

South African band, 1925 will be performing to raise money for the SPCA.

A few weeks ago it was reported that the Midrand SPCA had been forced to buy R 200 000 worth of pet food during the past year whereas previously they would have relied on donations from the public. Manager of the SPCA Elsje Naicker estimated that they had only two months left before they would need to close their doors. Unfortunately the SPCA is still in a crisis and urgently needs donations from the public or else they will be forced to close their doors.
