The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall, Sandton, and Pretoria campuses, along with the IIE MSA, came together to compete in this highly anticipated golf day, all vying for the esteemed trophy which symbolises excellence in this friendly rivalry.

Throughout the day, participants showcased impressive performances, creating a spirited and enjoyable competition among teams and players.

The conditions on the green were ideal, allowing for straightforward putting, which ultimately provided teams with ample opportunities to score birdies and make pars, elevating the excitement of the tournament.

Clive James Butler, from the Waterfall campus, expressed his thoughts on the event. He noted that although the day was filled with great potential, the somewhat breezy weather posed challenges for maintaining consistent performances on the course.

“This position has allowed me to not only manage the team effectively but also play a significant role in achieving our victory once again, which has brought me immense happiness and fulfillment.”

Ultimately, the winning team, which comprised Liam Mark Edwards, Butler himself, and Pierce Matthew Robinson, emerged victorious after a day of remarkable golfing and camaraderie among fellow competitors.
