Stage is set for the fourth South African Social Media Awards to celebrate digital excellence and honoring digital pioneers

As the social media landscape continues to evolve and reshape our interactions, one prestigious event stands out in the digital sphere – the South African Social Media Awards (#SASMA24).

Scheduled for November 23, this year’s ceremony promises to shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of brands, influencers, and digital tools that inspire and engage audiences across platforms.

On August 16, the excitement kicked off at a glamorous event held at Kream Resturant, Mall of Africa, where the nominees for the SASMAs were revealed.

With a panel comprising industry heavyweights like Kutlwano Radebe, Nicole Capper, Hope Malatsi, and Tinashe Kembo among many esteemed experts, participants can expect a thorough and fair evaluation process.

Every year, the SASMAs embrace a unique theme that resonates with participants and attendees alike. This year, the theme, ‘My World, My Story’, invites everyone to reflect on the power of social media as a medium for storytelling.

The SASMAs are not just about celebrating the best in the industry, they also aim to foster connections and collaborations among leading voices in social media.

In addition, this year’s event will feature engaging activities like a Golf Day with stakeholders, reinforcing the SASMAs as the premier event in the social media calendar.
