Summerhill School is proud of its learners’ achievements

Summerhill is immensely proud of Sathvika's achievement and wishes her many successes in the future.

Summerhill School is proud of its Grade 11 learner who was awarded full academic colours earlier this year.

The school raised its flag again for Sathvika Nooka (16) who took first place in South Africa and fourth place in the world for achieving the highest result in Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Economics.

The Cambridge IGCSE Economics syllabus develops an understanding of economic theory, terminology and principles. Learners study the economies of different countries and how these interrelate.

Cambridge IGCSE encourages learner-centred and inquiry-based learning approaches. It develops learners’ skills in creative thinking, inquiry, and problem-solving, preparing them for the next stage in their education.

Moreover, Sathvika joined the Summerhill family in 2019 and went straight on to share the DUX award at the end of that year.

Summerhill is immensely proud of Sathvika’s achievement and wishes her many successes in the future and would also like to congratulate school teacher David Nyatsambo on producing such astounding results from his learners.
