Grade 7’s get Cambridge certificates

The ceremony was a huge success, and the campus said the certificates will be a motivation to the learners to work extra hard.

Nova Pioneer Midrand Senior Primary campus recently hosted the Cambridge Certificate awards ceremony for its Grade 7 learners.

The awards ceremony took place on February 10 and saw the Grade 7s, parents, and teachers brave the rain to converge on campus to celebrate this prestigious ceremony.

Nova Pioneer offers private school education using the Cambridge curriculum in an environment that nurtures every learner to uncover their potential and help them develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.

During the ceremony, there was much excitement and cheering from parents and teachers as learners received their certificates from the campus dean of instruction, Ummi Shaik.

Top archivers were also given certificates for their outstanding performance in different subjects. This included Langelihle Mbuyane, Bakang Makoena, Aliyah Malaba, Arianna Kham, Tendai Mzimba, and Keisha Naidoo to name a few.

“High expectations are what we constantly strive for. Today Nova Pioneer Midrand depicted the always-growing culture principle when our students exceeded international averages in the International Cambridge Primary Checkpoint. We celebrated the high expectations that the learners have for themselves, their level of preparation, and their results,” said Shaik.

Xolisa Luthi, head of the campus, expressed his gratitude to the parents and teachers for supporting the learners throughout their junior school years and encouraged them to continue to do so in their senior school years.

He encouraged the learners to continue studying hard so that the school can continue being proud of its alumni.

The ceremony was a huge success and Luthi said the certificates will be a motivation to the learners to work extra hard. “To all our teachers, parents, and learners you have a choice to suffer for a short space of time and celebrate for the rest of your life or celebrate for a short space time and suffer for the rest of your life,” concluded Luthi.
