Heavy traffic on the N1 North following fiery crash
Motorists are urged to avoid the N1 North as Netcare 911 emergency services work to assist the victims of an accident that resulted in a car overturning and catching fire.
Netcare 911 attended to a light motor vehicle rollover on the N1 North after Allandale Road on September 27 at around 12:42.

Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst said the driver of the vehicle lost control which resulted in it rolling over several times while crashing another vehicle and subsequently catching fire.
“It seems the driver had a medical emergency hence he lost control of his vehicle. He was treated on scene by Netcare 911 medics and taken to the hospital for further care. He sustained moderate injuries.
The other driver of the second vehicle, is okay,” said Herbst.
