Curro Midrand preschoolers learn the basics of cycling
Curro Midrand Grade R learners at Sandridge, Sagewood, and Halfway Gardens Preschools enjoyed activities provided by Out-of-the-Blocks programme.
Curro Midrand preschoolers recently took part in the Out of the Blocks Programme.
The Out-of-the-Blocks programme for younger learners was introduced by Cycle2Ride – an initiative supported by Curro that aims to promote cycling as a medium for family cohesion, fun, and possible career choice for those truly interested in becoming professional athletes.
Curro’s marketing manager Kayla Womarans said, “By teaching younger learners the basics of cycling, we can develop skills needed for more advanced cycling as learners get older.”
A variety of activities were provided by Out-of-the-Blocks for Grade R learners from Curro Midrand’s Sandridge, Sagewood, and Halfway Gardens preschools.
“Our learners are encouraged to try out new movement behaviours and skills through the programme.”
