Following a number of reported power failures in Keeshond Street, Austin View, City Power and the Johannesburg Metropolitan Department (JMPD) embarked on an operation to remove illegal connections in the area on August 16.
These illegal connections were reportedly feeding the nearby informal settlement called ‘Floyd Shivambo’.
