In its maiden season in the Midrand Local Football Association, the Ivory Park team finished second which propelled them into the SAB Regional League for the upcoming 2022/23 campaign.

Khosa, who has dubbed the mammoth task Vision 2027, challenged his team’s technical staff and players to work hard to realise the team’s dream.

“If we can all work together, and align our dreams to be one, then Vision 2027 is achievable. We all need to work hard as a team to ensure that we push towards the same goal. From SAB, we need to go to SAFA ABC Motsepe, then Motsepe Foundation Championship and then the PSL,” said Khosa.

He said the plan was to spend one year in each league, and if they couldn’t, it could only be two years maximum.

“In as much as we are developing future Bafana Bafana players, the team still needs to play in the PSL come 2027 against all odds. We are ready to face all the challenges that lie ahead and be mentally strong to overcome them.”
