Christ Church advance to the semi’s after thrashing Maryvale 6-1

Christ Church will face Marion College in the semi-finals of the first team league soccer match.

Christ Church Preparatory School and College hosted a first-team league quarter-finals soccer match against Maryvale College on July 20.

Although Maryvale came prepared, they could not match Christ Church as the end of a very fast-paced and energetic game saw Christ Church thrashing the visitors 6–1.

Goal scorers of the day from the hosts included Seth van Wijk with two goals, Mangaliso Ngema who also netted two goals, Taona Makamure (1), and Sanele Masuku (1).

Seth was named man of the match for an outstanding performance that he produced on top of the two goals he scored.

Christ Church will play in the semi-finals on July 27 against Marion College at Randburg Stadium.
