Diepsloot rescue centre receives dog food donation

An organisation donated a number of 20kg high-protein bags of dog food to an animal organisation to assist rescue dogs in Diepsloot.

An animal rescue centre that assists stray dogs in Diepsloot received a number of 20kg bags of dog food thanks to a local organisation on May 6.

The Dogs Trust has been working with Manderston Canine Academy in Midrand where they rent kennels and the dogs, rescued or surrendered, live and are looked. They received a donation from UmVuzo Lifestyle Creators of high-protein dog food. The trust specialises in ensuring dogs are sterilised but also basic treatment of dogs that are surrendered or rescued to be rehomed or live out the rest of their days at the canine academy.

She added that the dog food donation will go a long way. “UmVuzo Lifestyle Creators are truly a great organisation, and we are super grateful for their donation. It is enough food to last us for a while in feeding the dogs, so we are incredibly grateful.”
