Local DJ drops new track
WATERFALL – Mark 'Audiomarc' Nkosi said that people can expect a new extended play in November.
The wait is over as Mark ‘Audiomarc’ Nkosi recently released the long-awaited tune, titled Why Me, featuring Nasty C and Blxckie.
The Waterfall-based producer and hip-hop DJ said the song was inspired by ‘wanting to have a good time’. The track aims to encourage others to also enjoy themselves, especially heading towards the festive season.
The Audio Czzle and They Don’t producer said Why Me was a lead to his upcoming EP (extended play) which features artists from his home town, Durban.
The track was inspired by a beat Nkosi found on the internet. He then decided to collaborate with his friends Nasty C and Blxckie. “The song is just a fun song, Nasty C just did his freestyle, he wanted people to do a TikTok dance, it was not even that deep. We just made a catchy hook and posted on Instagram,” he added.
“People liked it, I could tell by them hitting me up on social media platforms. Instantly, I knew that Blxckie would fit perfectly on the song because he traps. He did not even take a day to do his verse then we submitted the song and dropped it this month.”
Nkosi said that people could expect a new EP coming in the next month on all streaming platforms. He also intends on performing shows soon.
