Kia Sonnet offers something for everyone

South African buyers like the entry-level Kia Sonet SUV.

And, says Kia, “The popular mid-specification Sonet EX models are complemented by two entry-level Sonet LX derivatives that place value for money front and centre.”

The entry level Sonet LX offers a punchy 1.5-litre naturally aspirated power source generating 85kW and 144Nm with a choice between a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Among the highlights of the LX, are an 8,0-inch HD touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, remote central locking, 6 speakers, 15-inch wheels and a rear-view camera.

Complementing the Kia’s structure are electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, hill-start assist and dual front airbags.
“The popularity of the Kia Sonet has been overwhelming and we’re delighted that so many customers are choosing Kia’s newest model to begin their SUV life,” comments Stephen Crosse, sales and marketing director of Kia South Africa.

“There is nothing ‘entry-level’ about the Sonet LX derivatives when it comes to comfort, convenience and features, and we’re confident that the LX’s value proposition will further bolster the Sonet’s popularity.”

Pricing starts at R269,995 and include a standard Unlimited Kilometre, 5-year warranty (inclusive of Roadside Assistance), as well as a prepaid 4-year / 60 000km service plan.
