For now,  hand sanitizers are available at Gautrain stations and they encourage passengers to wash their hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.”Do not cough or sneeze on your fellow passengers or Gautrain staff. Instead, cover your mouth with a flexed elbow or tissue.”

Passengers are advised to dispose of tissues at the bins available at the stations.

“While we have been cleaning trains, stations, buses and midi-buses on a daily basis, we have now implemented additional cleaning measures as a preventative measure to help contain and avoid the spread of the Coronavirus.”
