Driver in hospital after rollover in Randjesfontein
RANDJESFONTEIN – Once stabilised, the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Old Pretoria Main Road in Randjesfontein, Midrand on 18 November at 5.27am.
Spokesperson for Netcare 911, Shawn Herbst said that reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light delivery vehicle lost control resulting in the car overturning.
“Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver, an adult male believed to be in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was treated on the scene by an advanced life support practitioner,” said Herbst.
Herbst added that once stabilised, the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
