Top Cambridge achievers recognised

MIDRAND – The British Council South Africa, with Partner Schools Global Network awarded top achievers in the 2018 Cambridge Assessment International Examinations.


The British Council South Africa hosted an awards ceremony in Midrand on 26 September for top achievers who took part in the 2018 Cambridge Assessment International Education Examinations.

According to their website, the British Council is a registered charity and is the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

The highly esteemed event was held at the Midrand Christian College and was attended by representatives from the British Council, Partner Schools Global Network, which is partnered with the British Council and is a community for schools that offer a United Kingdom curriculum leading to exams administered in partnership with the British Council, Cambridge Assessment members as well as parents, teachers and learners.

The awards were to celebrate the achievements of learners for their amazing performance in their exams and at the same time acknowledging the role of the teachers and parents who are role models and the driving forces in the learners’ lives.

Susana Gavlan who is the director for British Council Country, South Africa, gave a warm welcomed to everyone to PSGN Associate School Awards. Gavlan congratulated all top achievers of the 2018 Cambridge Assessment International Education Examinations.

“It is a great honour for us to partner with Cambridge Assessment International Education and all our Associate schools in this fantastic initiative.”
