Later the clubs interim executives were introduced to all members. The club’s project manager Shamila Nandlal said the their mandate was to uplift older people in the community by reaching out to old age homes as well as children’s homes to help with feeding and other chores.

“We are going to inspire our members to do good within the community and we wish each and every member will contribute something towards the community and helping the poor. We want to do things for our senior citizens in the club were they can come join the club and enjoy the day with us while dancing or doing handwork or having a meal with us, just to uplift them.
