Three suspects robbed motorist in Blue Hills

BLUE HILLS – The Midrand police are investigating a Blue Hills robbery involving three suspects.

 


The Midrand police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on 31 May.

Midrand Police Station Spokesperson Constable Thabiso Selowa said the robbery took place on Plantation Road. The victim was driving at approximately 6.15pm when a white Mazda with three armed suspects blocked him and allegedly pointed their firearms at the victim.

Selowa added that they demanded the victim’s belongings, which he handed over. The suspects made off with a Samsung cell phone, a camera, router, and a wireless headset, all to the approximate value of R3 000.

No injuries were sustained and the suspects are still at large.

The police are currently investigating the issue further.
