Update: Protesters block R55 on Samrand and Waterberg intersections
OLIEVENHOUTBOSCH – The R55 has now been blocked by protesters on Samrand and Waterberg intersections, use alternative routes.
Community members took to the streets this morning, 27 March, in Olievenhoutbosch to protest due to claims of service delivery and electricity issues.
The Midrand Reporter journalist, Ofentse Ditlopo, is at the scene and reports that the protest is peaceful as police remain nearby, directing motorists through the area.
