Tembisa Hospital welcomes 24 New Year’s babies
MIDRAND – The hospital delivered 17 boys and seven girls.

While people across the country were ushering in the New Year with celebrations, 24 mothers at the Tembisa Hospital kicked off their 2019 with their new bundles of joy.
According to hospital official, Matome Koko, the hospital delivered 17 boys and seven girls.
“Out of the 17 boys, one was born premature. The baby is doing well and is breathing on his own.”
The first five New Year’s babies who were born between midnight and 6am, arrived to much excitement, decorations and gifts that were awarded by the hospital staff.
