The Clothing Bank ready to empower

MIDRAND – The organisation aims at empowering unemployed South Africans.

 

The Clothing Bank held its open day at Randjespark in Midrand on 13 September.

This non-profit organisation aims at empowering unemployed South Africans to become financially and socially independent by supporting and nurturing them to start sustainable businesses.

About 90 guests graced the event where they were given an opportunity to experience a day in the life of the organisation which showcased its three projects namely, the Clothing Bank, the Appliance Bank and Grow.

Johannesburg branch manager at the Clothing Bank, Tracy-Leigh Kinsey said, “A great day was had by all.

“This was a wonderful opportunity to share our vision and give stakeholders and the public some insight into what we do and how our projects work.”
