The Midrand SPCA holds its annual general meeting and elects a new committee.

The Midrand SPCA held their annual general meeting on 28 July at the Ambrosia Hall in Glen Austin, Midrand.

Brenda Lucas of the SPCA chaired the meeting and it was open to SPCA members and members of the public. The meeting was not well attended but there were enough members present to reach a quorum, therefore, a new committee was voted in.

Many matters were discussed at the meeting including the financial reports and the need for more fundraising. An issue that arose at the meeting was the need to get more members of the public involved to improve support for the society.
