At approximately 6.25pm last night, 15 May, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on Republic Road in Ebony Park.
Reports from the scene allege that the elderly male victim had been attacked in his car and shot multiple times, resulting in his death.
According to Nick Dollman, media liaison for Netcare Limited, documentation pertaining to his death was completed by Netcare 911 and handed over to authorities at the scene. The Provincial Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
Local police were on the scene and are investigating.
