Joburg riders compete in the Shongweni Derby

JOBURG – The show comes off the back of the Easter Festival held at Kyalami Equestrian Park.

Just off the back of the 10-day Nissan Easter Festival, which was held at Kyalami Equestrian Park recently, Joburg riders headed down to KwaZulu-Natal to compete in The Land Rover Durban Shongweni Derby.

The show ran from 12 to 15 April.

The most anticipated championship classes took place on the final day.

According to the results posted by the Shongweni Club Facebook page on The Land Rover Durban Shongweni Derby 2018 events Facebook page, Tasmin Maher riding Blazin Sun Fire clinched the win in the Land Rover Durban KZN Open Derby.

Oliver Bishop riding Belvedere placed second while Amy Engelbrecht riding Artavs Cruise Control placed third.
