A new police boss in Rabie Ridge

MIDRAND – Rabie Ridge Police Station appointed Colonel Johanna Ngoma as the new station commander.

Rabie Ridge Police Station appointed a new station commander in December last year, known as Colonel Johanna Ngoma.

Ngoma was promoted from the rank of lieutenant colonel to colonel and then permanently transferred from Kempton Park police to Rabie Ridge Police Station.

The station commander has been acting in the very same position for ten months. Rabie Ridge police spokesperson Captain Matsobane Masela said she had led the station to a five-star performance.

“She fitted very well and was supported by two hardworking commanders, Lieutenant Colonel Francois van der Merwe leading visible policing and Lieutenant Colonel Richard Khumalo.

“She was warmly welcomed by all functional and civilian members of the station.”

Masela has described Ngoma as a humble and persuasive commander who likes her team to achieve good results.

“Indeed Rabie Ridge will become a leading station with the support of all the officers and community members.”
