Golden Knights Soccer Academy clinch the Eastern Local Football Association League
MIDRAND – After going a goal down, Golden Knights clawed their way back with goals from Kwena Thagane and the winning goal from Khanyisile Masoka.
Midrand’s Golden Knights Soccer Academy U13s beat Elspark Football Club 2–1 to win the Eastern Local Football Association League.
After going a goal down, Golden Knights clawed their way back with goals from Kwena Thagane and the winning goal from Khanyisile Masoka.
“This achievement illustrates the abundance of talent Midrand is blessed with,” said the club’s treasurer Kenneth Mokgabudi. “Against all odds, their U13s have overcome every obstacle in their path on their way to lifting the trophy.”
The U13 coach and CEO of the club, Katleho Ntsekhe said, “We are proud of the boys as they have shown what it truly means to represent your community.
“With a vast number of players from a range of Midrand schools including Halfway House Primary School and Midrand Primary School, Golden Knights is truly an academy representing Midrand.”
