Midrand police spokesperson Warrant Officer Mmakgomo Semono confirmed that three police officers was involved in an accident with another vehicle on Olifantsfontein Road today (25 April). The police vehicle had overturned.
He said, “The other vehicle had one person inside who did not sustain any injuries. The officers were rushing to a scene and had put the siren on but the motorist did not make way for them.”

Two of the three police officers were rushed to the hospital, and the third was uninjured.
