New commander in Midrand

MIDRAND – Midrand Police Station has appointment Colonel Mkhacani Maluleke as the new station commander.

 

Midrand Police Station has appointed a new station commander – Colonel Mkhacani Maluleke.

The previous acting station commander, Lieutenant Colonel David Mahloromela’s community plan for the station was to have the different spheres of policing working together to create a safer environment and transparency between officers and the community.

Chairperson of the Midrand CPF, Steven Johnstone, said he is motivated and determined to eradicate the criminal elements in society including drug dealers within Midrand.

The new station commander has 20 years of experience and has worked at the Sandton, Alexandra and Fairlands police stations.

“Together with Colonel Maluleke, we have formed an alliance and understanding that our community must have a safer environment to live and work in,” said Johnstone.
