Zuma promises to relocate homeless victims
ALEX - President Jacob Zuma visits flood victims in Alex.
In a visit to Setjwetla Informal Settlement in Alexandra, President Jacob Zuma togrether with Premier of Gauteng David Makhura sent out their condolences to families that had lost loved ones in the flash floods.
Zuma ensured residents that Government would continue to assist in locating missing persons as well as relocating people who had lost their homes in the floods,Ā and relocating families who lived along the Jukskei River.
Zuma also added that government planned on fixing embankment around the river.
According to Zuma a total of 4900 people have been left homeless from the floods.
