For the first time in a long time, the police, Community Policing Forum (CPF), Metro police, security companies and members of the community teamed up to combat crime in the Midrand precinct. “We are very pleased with the results of the operation. It was wonderful to see the commitment of all the relevant stakeholders, working together again as a team in order to fight crime,” said Steven Johnstone, chairman of the Midrand CPF.

“Committed members from the police, Metro police, security companies, CPF and members of the community from each of the sectors in Midrand, met up and worked together. We all take our role to protect and serve the residents of Midrand very seriously.”
