One dead in tragic truck collision
OLIFANTSFONTEIN - A man has died and the other is in a critical condition after a truck collided with a vehicle on the N1 North near the Olifantsfontein off-ramp in Midrand.
The accident occurred at 4.44am and while the exact details to the cause of this accident will remain a subject for police investigation.

Netcare911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said, “Netcare911 paramedics worked alongside other services on scene.”

Mathe added, “Reports from the scene indicate that the passenger in the vehicle died at the scene while the driver of the vehicle was stabilised on scene and transported to a Johannesburg hospital in a critical condition for further medical care.”
