Twitter talks elections
JOBURG – Johannesburg's Twitter users talk about the 2016 Local Municipal Elections.
Voting has now ended, but as the country awaits the results of the 2016 Municipal Elections, Twitter is buzzing.
Voting to find the new councillors of each ward took place on 3 August throughout South Africa and today it is expected that all the results will be validated.
Twitter users pass the time between now and then by getting a number of hashtags and terms trending including #IfDAWins, #ElectionsResults, The ANC, Nkandla and Tshwane.
