World travels with local presenters

JOHANNESBURG – The Man Cave presenters let us in on their adventures on the show

The hunky presenters of SABC 3’s The Man Cave are touring the world, but loving Joburg.

The Man Cave, a lifestyle show presented by three local hotties, is taking on a fourth season of the successful show and the threesome is letting us in on their lives on the series.

Siv Ngesi, Lunga Shabalala and Janez Vermeiren are the three adventurous presenters of the series and they, during their time on The Man Cave, have taken on exciting activities such as Muay Thai, gliding through the air and driving a NASCAR, and it won’t end there.

While still in the process of recording the fourth season, they agree that Vietnam, Thailand and Vegas have been their favourite destinations so far, and some of their favourite guests have been Themba Bavuma and DJ Fresh, among the other great ones.

“We have taken everything to the next level,” Vermeiren commented on the upcoming new season.

“[We have] A new Man Cave, which we believe is the best looking set in South Africa and we travelled to South East Asia where we ate bats, beating cobra hearts and scorpions… Well, Siv did – I couldn’t do it because my stomach reacted before we even attempted to,” he continued.

The three gentlemen, who love what they do, said that they especially love the competitive nature of being on the set of the show.

“The competitive nature between all of us on set is infectious. We’re always trying to beat each other at different challenges,” said Vermeiren

Taking up most of their time at the moment is the recording of the links to the show, in order to give eager viewers sneak peaks of their world travels, but if you really want to see them in the flesh, you’ll need to visit the Johannesburg and the northern suburbs.

“We are always around Steyn City and the Fourways and Sandton areas for shoots, but we are generally trendy and you will spot us around Johannesburg,” Vermeiren concluded.
