South Africa Bike Festival coming to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit
KYALAMI – South Africa Bike Festival 2016, powered by Discovery Channel, are thrilled to announce the first-ever Custom Bike Show, the South African Championship, as one of the many features at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
The festival, which will take place from 27 to 29 May, will boast a dedicated area showcasing the latest and greatest custom motorcycles from all over South Africa.
Chief judge, showmaster for the championship for the festival and master builder, Mario Kyprianides, owner and master builder of Chopper Kulture, which builds custom motorbikes, will be at the event. He has taken part in bike shows and earned many titles including the European Champion.
The categories for 2016 include:
- Vintage class for every motorcycle before 1985, 3-Wheeler Class
- Sports bike class – best sports bike with fairing and stock swing arm
- Radical sportsbike
- Streetfighter class – Best sportsbike without fairing
- Stock metric and European, stock US V-Twin
- Touring class – best touring bike Japanese, German and more
- Radical custom class – every custom-made motorcycle with aftermarket frame and or engine.
