Mo Flava gives away 12 media bursaries
JOHANNESBURG – Metro FM presenter, Mo Flava recently gave back to the community when he awarded 12 students with free Boston Media House bursaries on 11 February.
The radio presenter was initially supposed to only hand out 10 bursaries but opted to change the lives of 12 students instead.
Mo Flava has given away bursaries for the last six years, and this year, prospective candidates were interviewed at Boston Media House’s Sandton and Pretoria campuses. He personally conducted these interviews, which ran once a week over a three-week period in January.
The bursaries were given to students who displayed a keen interest in radio, TV, music production and graphic design, as well as other media studies-related degrees.
