Have you bought into the Stikeez craze?

JOBURG - Shoppers around the country have seen the Stickeez that have been introduced to the shopping experience by Pick n Pay, but how is everyone really feeling about them?

Stickeez are the fun new toys that shoppers receive when purchasing goods that exceed R150 at Pick n Pay, and were introduced as a way to promote a competition which is being run by the retail giant.

According to website Parent24.com, a recent CherryFlava article was published declaring that the shopping outlet’s sales have increased by 12 percent since the introduction of the sticky creatures.

Unfortunately, the fun toys have created an issue between parents and their children. The main problem parents are facing are the temper tantrums when children want the toys despite the fact that one may not be planning to spend R150 or more on groceries.

And a person with three children may have to spend more than R450 to receive a toy for each one.

Parent24.com encourages parents to keep their children in check and discipline them accordingly, especially if a child is behaving badly over a fad such as Stickeez.

However, there are also a significant number of parents who are enjoying the new Stickeez game with their children.
