Impilo requests assistance ahead of Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge

JOBURG – As the Momentum 947 Cycle Challenge edges closer, Impilo is appealing to residents across Johannesburg to assist them with their fundraising by joining the upcoming cycle challenge.

Impilo is a non-profit organisation based in Fairvale and is focused on caring for and protecting orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children by providing a professional service guided by the underlying principle of serving the child’s best interests.

The organisation is urging residents to contribute by either becoming a cyclist for the child care organisation, at a cost of R1 800 per ride; sponsoring a ride for the same amount; or by donating R40 for every kilometre ridden.

Interested residents can also play their part by donating an item from the organisation’s wish list for every kilometre ridden during the challenge.

Registration for the cycle challenge closes on 31 August, while the challenge itself will take place on 15 November.
