Jubilant Jubilate Primary School in Jabulani Sports Tournament

KYALAMI - It was joy all around when Midrand's Jubilate Primary School's U13 netball team won their category in the Jabulani Sports Tournament hosted at Summit College.

 

Summit College sports co-ordinator Vinod Naidoo said, “The tournament… went well. The aim of the tournament is for pupils to at least take part in five games, which include soccer and netball.”

Schools represented in the U11 and U13 netball and soccer teams included Bellavista School, Buccleuch Montessori, Cedarwood School, Christ Church Preparatory and College, Japari School, Jubilate Primary school, The King’s College (Bryanston), North Sands School, Sagewood School, St James Preparatory School, Summerhill School and Summit College.

Tournament winners:

  •  Netball U11 – Summit College
  •  Soccer U11 – Christ Church Preparatory and College
  •  Netball U13 Open – Jubilate Primary School
  •  Soccer U13 Open – The King’s College, Bryanston
  •  Netball U11 Player of the Tournament – Khutso Phaasha, Summit College
  •  Soccer U11 Player of the Tournament – Keamo Khubeka, Summit College
  •  Netball U13 Open Player of the Tournament – Thabiso Mulaudzi, Jubilate Primary School
  •  Soccer U13 Open Player of the Tournament – Rudy Kachero, The King’s College Bryanston.
