The caption on the video indicates it took place on Mayfair Road in Johannesburg. After some research, Midrand Reporter established that the only road named Mayfair in Johannesburg is Mayfair Street in Olifantsfontein. Crime Watch said they would clarify the details of the incident when they had more information.
The video depicts a sedan pulling into a driveway. A passenger gets out of the vehicle. Then another vehicle pulls up behind them on the street and three armed suspects get out of the car. They forcefully drag the driver of the sedan out and force the victim into the back seat before driving away. The passenger manages to run away. It is unknown to Midrand Reporter what happened to the two victims.
Provincial police spokesperson Colonel Noxolo Kweza watched the video but could not give further details on the matter at this time.
