Acts of Love organisation pampers the elderly
MIDRAND - Acts of Love Midrand, a charity organisation, visited the elderly at three old age homes to pamper the residents.
The team visited Cresset House, a home for the mentally disabled in Glen Austin, Highveld Retirement Village in Vorna Valley and Badirammogo Old Age Centre in Olievenhoutbosch.
Manager for the organisation Cindy Naidoo said, “The charity is part of Acts of Love church and the purpose of the outreach was to give the elderly some special care and love.”
The team gave the elderly hand and leg massages, pedicures and manicures, and had a high tea for attendees.
Plantina Chauke of Cresset House and Martha Noge of Badirammogo Old Age Centre thanked Acts of Love for their kindness and pampering sessions. Highveld Retirement Village in Vorna Valley could not be reached for comment.
Acts of Love will hold a soup kitchen in Olieventhoutbosch on 14 March.
