For the last couple of months water has been streaming down the side walk in front of our office building in Midrand.
Trucks come and go and constructors lay pipes and dig around it but no one fixes the water problem. With the current water problems, we can not afford to lose any water. I have logged a call with Joburg Water and have a reference number, but no one has responded to our problem. I wonder who is paying for this water wastage.
Midrand Reporter has also tried to contact Joburg Water for over two weeks with regards to this issue to no avail. At this point it is not known what the problem is, whether it’s a burst pipe or something else.
