Smiles in the face of illness

MIDRAND - Century Property Developments sponsored a day of fun for 10 young boys with serious illnesses in the Eastern Cape.

The day was organised by Reach for a Dream.

The Captain Courage programme for the day included games and lunch. The group of boys was accompanied by five students of Fort Hare University, where Century is building student accommodation.

A few weeks later it was the girls’ turn to be spoilt by Reach for a Dream and nine of them were first treated to a trip to a beauty salon. They were then

whisked away in a stretch limo to a venue where they were crowned Queen for a Day.

There were plenty of delicious eats, including a chocolate fountain, and after strutting on a red carpet, the girls pumped up the music and showed their best moves to the students of Fort Hare.

Reach for a Dream thanked Century Property Developments for the donation which enabled them to fulfil these youngsters’ dreams in the face of serious illnesses.
