More Disney on Ice shows added
JOBURG - Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, Disney on Ice's local promoter has added more shows to the South African schedule.
This year, Disney on Ice will celebrate 100 Years of Magic with more than 60 Disney characters, a sing-along score of award-winning music, stunning choreography, and elaborate sets and costumes.
“The popularity of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, The Lion King, and Pinocchio is unprecedented worldwide, and South Africa is no exception,” said Debra de Souza, on behalf of promoters Showtime Management.
“Since the SA tour dates were announced, the public response has been phenomenal. To accommodate the demand for tickets, Showtime Management has added early evening shows, commencing at 6pm.”
The show will open on 11 July at the Coca-Cola Dome, Northriding, and run until 20 July before moving to Cape Town’s Grand Arena.
