Mrs SA contestant donates clothing to a children’s home

MIDRAND - Mrs South Africa finalist Lindela Mzobe donated clothes to Botshabelo Babies Home.

Mzobe said, “I collected the clothes from my friends and family and gave them to the home because the children there need them a lot.

“I have also approached a few stores to sponsor baby formula, nappies and baby products so that we can send them to the home. I am hopeful that someone out there will agree to assist.”

The home’s funding co-ordinator, Michelle Hinrichsen said donations were what keep the home going. “Donations such as the one made by Mzobe are helpful and enable us to give the best care to the children,” she said. “We appreciate all the support we get from members of the community.

“The needs of the home include formula, nappies, and in winter we will appreciate any warm clothes so that the children stay warm.”

Mzobe will be contesting for the Mrs South Africa title on 8 August at Emperors Palace.
