Mr SA contestant hosts fundraiser
MIDRAND - Resident Jaco Gerrits is hosting a charity fundraising event in aid of Joost van der Westhuizen's charity, the J9 Foundation.
Gerrits said the event will take place at the Barnyard Theatre Rivonia on 27 March from 6.30pm, with current Mr South Africa John Owens, the Houlson Twins, and himself in attendance.
Gerrits is a contestant in the 2014 Mr South Africa competition. He is an award-winning entrepreneur, innovator and speaker. He is the founder and CEO of Dynamus Technologies, a company that has researched, designed, developed and successfully implemented numerous technology solutions across various industries.
He is also the chairperson of Thembela, an initiative which aims to address social and economic challenges through implementing innovative technology.
Tickets are R160 and further donations will be encouraged for the J9 Foundation.
